DATA ANALYST (6-MONTH FTC)

LONDON/HYBRID

UP TO £55,000

This is an opportunity to join a high-profile regulatory programme where your work will directly support business-critical decision making. Sitting within an established Analytics team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate data analysis, reporting, and extracts to support a major FCA redress initiative.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Analyst will:

  • Support the delivery of a major FCA redress programme.
  • Analyse complaints and regulatory datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Write, maintain, and optimise SQL queries.
  • Produce large-scale data extracts for operational and reporting requirements.
  • Manage high volumes of data requests while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
  • Deliver reporting and management information to support programme outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure data quality and supporting regulatory reporting requirements.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial SQL experience, using SQL as a primary analytical tool.
  • Proven ability to manipulate, transform, and analyse complex datasets.
  • Experience handling large data extract and reporting requests.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated or highly governed environment.
  • Experience engaging with business stakeholders and translating requirements into deliverables.
  • Availability to start within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Financial services experience is beneficial
