Data Analyst

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to lead analytics implementation, reporting strategy, data quality and performance measurement across a portfolio of digital and performance marketing clients. This is a hands-on role combining strong technical expertise in digital analytics, tracking, consent management, reporting and troubleshooting with the strategic thinking needed to shape measurement frameworks and identify opportunities for improvement.

Working across multiple client accounts, you will collaborate with account teams, performance marketing, UX, development and project management to deliver accurate measurement, actionable insight and scalable reporting solutions. You will lead analytics strategies aligned to client objectives while remaining actively involved in implementation, optimisation and delivery.

The Role

The Data Analyst will support analytics implementation, reporting strategy, data quality and performance measurement across a portfolio of digital and performance marketing clients.

This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in digital analytics, tracking, consent management, reporting and troubleshooting, combined with the ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for improvement and shape clients' measurement frameworks.

Working across multiple client accounts, you will partner with account teams, the performance marketing team, UX specialists, developers and project managers to deliver accurate measurement, actionable insight and scalable reporting solutions. You will lead analytics strategies that support client objectives while remaining actively involved in implementation and delivery.

Your Role

Clients:

  • Audit analytics implementations, reporting environments and measurement frameworks.
  • Lead analytics strategies aligned to client and account objectives.
  • Define KPI frameworks and reporting structures.
  • Support performance reporting, attribution analysis, funnel analysis and audience insights.
  • Assess data quality, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Commerciality:

  • Design and maintain dashboards using Looker Studio, Power BI and related tools.
  • Improve reporting efficiency through automation and single-source-of-truth initiatives.
  • Support warehouse-to-dashboard reporting and connected marketing technology ecosystems.

Communication:

  • Produce tracking briefs, implementation plans, QA documentation and stakeholder guidance.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

Creativity:

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation within reporting and analytics workflows.
  • Diagnose tracking, reporting and data quality issues and define remediation plans.
  • Support data architecture, integration and reporting workflows.
  • Work with BigQuery, SQL and Python for extraction, transformation, QA and automation.
  • Leverage GTM, APIs, web services and automation platforms such as Zapier.
  • Understand the data collection potential of CMSs, DXPs, CRMs, CDPs, consent platforms, data lakes, eCommerce and reporting platforms.

Collaboration:

  • Work with marketing, UX, web development, project management and account teams.
  • Scope and deliver integrated measurement requirements within new website and platform projects.
  • Build clear, repeatable tracking QA processes, including regular checks, clear ownership and escalation when issues are found.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Floodlight and Google Ads tracking.
  • Manage consent management platforms including OneTrust, CookieScript and Consent Mode.
  • Ensure analytics implementations are scalable, compliant and properly documented.

Culture:

  • Operate independently, managing multiple client workstreams and driving initiatives forward with minimal supervision.

Core Competencies and Behaviours

For this role, we are looking for the following core competencies and behaviours:

  • 4+ years' experience in digital analytics, data analytics or measurement strategy.
  • Ideally agency experience working across multiple clients in parallel.
  • Strong hands-on experience with analytics implementation, tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience auditing analytics ecosystems and developing reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of GTM, SQL, APIs, web services and data integrations.
  • Experience working with CMS, CRM, CDP and wider marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of tracking restrictions caused by browser privacy changes, consent requirements and platform limitations, including how these affect reported performance.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and e-Privacy
