Confused.com

Confused.com is the UK’s first comparison platform for car insurance. We’ve been helping customers since 2002 by empowering them to make better decisions around insurance and financial services.

We’re part of RVU, a group of online brands that include: Uswitch, money.co.uk, and Mojo Mortgages.

We are at the cutting edge of the FinTech industry, so we’re always looking for extraordinary talent. If you love what you do, get in touch today!

About The Team

The Panel Analytics team sits at the core of our Partnerships function. We are a team of analytic specialists dedicated to driving continuous improvement in Confused.com's market competitiveness and pricing strategies.

We work closely with our Commercial and Strategic leadership teams to provide high-quality analytical support, driving smarter data-driven decisions. We're now looking for a talented, curious mind to join us at this exciting stage of our journey.

About The Role

We're looking for an Analyst to support high-quality analysis across Confused.com. You'll turn complex data into clear insights, and you'll work in a team that uses AI tools like Claude day-to-day to support analysis and reporting, so you'll pick up modern analytics workflows from day one.

This is a great opportunity to build your analytical and storytelling skills in a fast-paced, data-rich environment, with support from senior analysts as you grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing clear analysis using SQL and Python, with support from senior team members on approach and structure
  • Investigating performance trends to help identify opportunities to improve our panel of insurance partners
  • Using advanced statistical models to evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on pricing and panel performance
  • Working with Commercial and Product teams to help deliver insights that shape pricing and product decisions
  • Using AI tools (we work extensively with Claude) to enhance delivery, always checking outputs and applying your own judgement
  • Sharing knowledge and ideas with your team, and building good habits in analytical best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
