Location: Bradford – Hybrid
Contract: Full Time | 12-month fixed term contract
Salary: £37,000 – £43,000

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join Anchor on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll use data, reporting and analytics to help colleagues across Anchor better understand performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
Working closely with stakeholders, Business Analysts, Data Engineers and QA colleagues, you’ll help understand reporting requirements and turn them into effective, accessible dashboards and reporting solutions. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore our data, identify new insights and bring them to life through clear and engaging visualisations.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI
- Working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate these into effective reporting solutions
- Designing creative, accessible dashboards and producing mock-ups to demonstrate potential solutions
- Undertaking exploratory analysis and modelling to identify new insights and opportunities
- Creating compelling data stories and visualisations that make complex information easier to understand
- Collaborating with Data Engineers and QA colleagues to test outputs and maintain data quality and integrity
- Supporting the development of data marts and ensuring reporting has clear data lineage
- Documenting requirements, solutions and working practices within Azure DevOps
- Working as part of an Agile team, contributing to Scrum activities and delivering work within agreed sprint cycles
- Supporting existing reporting solutions, investigating issues and implementing changes where required

About you
You’ll be an analytical and curious Data Analyst who enjoys using data to solve problems and help others understand what the information is telling them.
You’ll bring
- Proven experience of building and maintaining reporting solutions
- Experience of developing data analytics and documenting data requirements
- Strong Power BI and DAX skills
- A good understanding of data models and data governance
- Strong data visualisation skills with the ability to present information in an engaging and insightful way
- Experience of working with stakeholders to understand business and customer requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- An analytical approach with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of Agile software development and Scrum methodologies
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a wider project team
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps is also important, while awareness of technologies such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks would be beneficial.
- You’ll be degree educated or have equivalent relevant work experience.
