Our client is looking for a motivated and logically minded Data Analyst to join their growing team. Sitting at the intersection of finance, technology, and process improvement, this is a brand-new, high-impact role created to support our evolving systems infrastructure.
You will work directly alongside our lead technical finance professionals, taking ownership of core data management, data quality, and system upkeep, while quickly expanding into advanced BI dashboarding, bespoke reporting, and automation projects.
If you love technical problem-solving, have a passion for code and data, but want a career distinct from pure software engineering or traditional finance, this role offers a fantastic platform for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop code-based reports within bespoke systems and build BI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) to support business decision-making.
- Maintain internal finance systems, ensure high standards of data quality and control, and handle ongoing data cleaning and management.
- Identify manual processes and deliver automated solutions using code, AI tools, and modern software.
- Assist with the rollout and onboarding of new software and system upgrades across the department.
- Document operational workflows, data pipelines, and system processes clearly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
