About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team at Man Group. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the investment process by conducting in-depth research, analyzing market trends, and assisting in the development of investment strategies. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications such as CFA or CPA is preferred but not mandatory
- At least 2-4 years of experience in investment analysis, financial research, or asset management
- Strong quantitative skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, or other financial software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and risk management principles
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate attention to detail, and maintain high levels of accuracy
- Collaborative attitude and strong ethical foundation aligned with the firm’s commitment to responsible investing
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on various asset classes, industries, and geographic markets to identify investment opportunities and risks
- Support senior portfolio managers in developing and implementing investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk appetite
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments or rebalancing
- Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and market outlooks to facilitate informed decision-making
- Stay updated on global economic trends, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes that could impact investment portfolios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management and compliance, to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
- Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research, transactions, and performance metrics
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of investment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
