The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Science & Insight Team as a Data Analyst. We have a wide-ranging client list, working with some of the biggest and most innovative brands in the UK across publishing, retail, financial services, utilities, leisure, gaming, and beyond, helping to support clients with their marketing activities. The team is responsible for the delivery of CACI’s portfolio of data products, which describe people and places in terms of demographics, behaviours, and attitudes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering our Data Products: Either through standard off-the-shelf packages or using complex code to ingest and wrangle client data, the core part of your job will be working to ensure that our clients are able to access and use our data in the most effective way.
- Interacting with Clients: We work closely with the sales teams and account managers, so you’ll join them in conversations with clients to help them gain deeper insight into their customers.
- Innovation: We are always looking to develop new techniques and improve the efficiency of our existing processes. You’ll have the chance to join a “lab”, where we work collaboratively in small groups, focused on areas such as Automation, Image Analysis and Generative AI.
- Data Science and Visualisation: Once you’ve built up your knowledge of our data and processes, we’ll provide you with the opportunities to work on a variety of data science and data visualisation projects, which typically use CACI data in conjunction with information held by clients on their customers to deliver insight and recommendations. These would draw on a range of different software and analytical techniques and include the presentation of findings to external stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
