Data Analyst
Our client, a well-established provider of housing services, is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insight that supports better decision-making, improves services, and drives organisational performance. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to develop reports, dashboards, and analysis that influence strategy and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and management information.
- Extract, cleanse, model and analyse data from multiple systems.
- Create clear data visualisations using Power BI and Excel.
- Identify trends, performance insights and opportunities for service improvement.
- Support the development of reporting frameworks and data quality initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Help automate reporting processes and improve the efficiency of data collection.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience extracting, cleaning and interpreting data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for improving data quality.

Desirable
- SQL experience.
- Experience within housing, local government, or the wider public sector.
- Experience with housing management systems such as Open Housing.
- Knowledge of data protection and information governance.
