Overview
What are we looking for?
Moorhouse is supporting a major UK regulator in identifying experienced Data Analysts to join a specialist data analytics team delivering a high-profile pilot funds data programme. The programme aims to improve regulatory supervision through enhanced use of data, analytics and reporting, helping supervisors identify trends, risks and emerging issues across the financial services sector.
We are seeking candidates with strong data analysis and visualisation experience who can combine technical expertise with stakeholder engagement skills to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Successful candidates will be comfortable working across business and technical teams, developing dashboards, improving data quality and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
If you have strong data analytics, dashboarding and stakeholder engagement experience, enjoy working with complex datasets, and can demonstrate a track record of turning data into meaningful business insights, we would be keen to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
