Data Analyst – Banking – London – Contract – Outside IR35
An experienced Data Analyst is required by a UK challenger bank in London to work with their Data team on a Data Excellence project.
You will need a good Data Analytics background within a Retail Banking or Corporate Banking environment as you will need to:
- Review large volumes of data exceptions and identify key themes, trends, and recurring defects.
- Assess whether identified issues are material or non-material to the Bank

You will require:
- Experience working on data quality, data remediation, regulatory remediation, or data governance programmes within financial services.
- Experience assessing materiality, risk, and business impact of data defects.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience of working within a UK bank, ideally within Lending or Deposits.
- A good understanding of UK banking data.
- Broad knowledge of Data requirements for regulatory reporting.
- Experience with Cloud Data platforms (ideally GCP).
- Data quality best practice.
