About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our platform to ensure seamless user experiences for both job seekers and recruiters. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative features, optimize system performance, and uphold the highest standards of code quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology solutions that impact the global tech community, contributing directly to the growth and success of Hackajob.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software development with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java is essential. Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular, and backend technologies such as Node.js or Django, is highly desirable. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database management (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications and services that meet user needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices are implemented across all platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our platform.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and mentoring junior developers when necessary.
- Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
