Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Hemel (weekly visits to our head office in Hemel Hempstead is expected, flexibility possible)
Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, poppi, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the Role:
We are now recruiting for a Data Analyst within our Business Insights Team. This role will support the delivery of profitable growth across Carlsberg Britvic by managing, transforming and analysing external continuous data sources and developing high-quality reporting and analytical solutions. The Data Analyst will be the subject matter expert and will provide fact-based insight into market, channel, customer and consumer performance, enabling better commercial decision-making within the business.

Role Responsibilities:
- Own and manage external market and consumer data sources, including NielsenIQ, CGA, Kantar and other intelligence providers, ensuring data quality, accuracy and reliability.
- Act as the central point of contact for continuous data, building collaborative relationships with data partners and providing support, training and guidance across the business.
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, automated reporting solutions and KPI frameworks that deliver clear, actionable business insights.
- Continuously improve reporting capabilities by identifying opportunities for automation, simplification and enhanced user experience.
- Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and commercial performance.
- Analyse market, customer, channel, category and consumer trends to identify opportunities, risks and key drivers of growth.
- Partner with Commercial, Category, Sales, Marketing and Business Insights teams to support planning, performance reviews and strategic growth initiatives.
- Deliver robust analysis and evidence-based recommendations to support ad hoc business questions, projects and investment decisions.
- Champion best practice in data visualisation, reporting design and insight generation, helping stakeholders better leverage data and reporting tools.
- Advance continuous improvement in analytics and reporting processes, working closely with IT and Data teams to enhance data accessibility, infrastructure and reporting capabilities.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience developing impactful Power BI solutions, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design.
- Advanced capability in analysing, transforming and interpreting large, complex datasets from multiple sources to generate meaningful business insights.
- Experience delivering automated reporting and interactive dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience working with market and consumer data sources such as NielsenIQ, CGA, Kantar, Circana (IRI) or similar intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of analytical and visualisation tools including Snowflake, SQL, Python, R, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Tableau.
- Understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting and modelling techniques, including regression and time-series analysis.
- FMCG experience, with exposure to commercial, category, revenue growth management (RGM) or marketing functions and an understanding of financial and P&L performance metrics.
- Naturally curious and commercially minded, with an interest in understanding consumer behaviour, market dynamics and the drivers of growth within the alcoholic beverages and soft drinks sectors.
