About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Data Idols. This pivotal role involves shaping and leading the design, development, and scaling of advanced analytics and AI solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical expertise in data analytics, combined with strategic insight and stakeholder management skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders, to establish best practices, reusable standards, and scalable data architectures that align with business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of analytics at a leading organization, utilizing modern technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in designing and deploying enterprise-scale analytics solutions
  • Exceptional proficiency in SQL and data querying languages
  • Extensive experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks platforms
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic data models, and analytics data architecture
  • Ability to establish and promote analytics standards, best practices, and reusable technical patterns
  • Strategic thinker with the capability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

As a Lead Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and implementation of scalable analytics and AI solutions that meet organizational needs
  • Collaborating with data engineers, platform engineers, and business units to develop robust data architectures and semantic models
  • Establishing and maintaining analytics standards, best practices, and reusable technical components to ensure consistency and quality across projects
  • Driving innovation by exploring and integrating modern analytics tools and AI technologies
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and data team members
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, present insights, and ensure solutions align with business strategies
  • Monitoring and optimizing analytics solutions for performance, security, and compliance
  • Documenting technical solutions and contributing to the development of organizational data governance policies
