About The Role

Hays is partnering with a leading organization currently undergoing a significant transformation driven by digital innovation and data-driven strategies. As part of this exciting phase, they are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their expanding Business Transformation team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the organization’s decision-making processes by transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with various business stakeholders to develop comprehensive reports, build interactive dashboards, and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Your expertise will help shape strategic initiatives and optimize business performance through innovative data solutions.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Desirable qualifications:
    • Experience with Power BI or comparable Business Intelligence tools
    • Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate
    • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms
    • Solid understanding of data modeling and database structures

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining SQL queries, datasets, and reporting solutions to support data analysis initiatives
  • Creating and updating dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI and related tools
  • Analyzing data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Supporting automation projects through the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Contributing to the development of AI-enabled analytics and modern data solutions
  • Ensuring data accuracy, governance, and compliance standards are maintained at all times
