Data Analyst
London remote | £50,000 - £55,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Data Analyst to join a growing organisation at a pivotal stage of its journey. The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will sit within a small finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders to manage reporting, analysis, and data processes across the business.

You will:
- Own and develop finance reporting and management information
- Support forecasting cycles and maintain large-scale financial models covering forecasts, planning, and cash flow
- Reconcile data across multiple systems, including Xero, SQL, and Power BI
- Upload, manage, and maintain finance and operational datasets
- Produce board-level reporting on financial performance, operational metrics, and contract activity
- Analyse volumes, performance trends, and operational data against forecasts and expectations
- Build new reports and dashboards while enhancing existing reporting processes
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Partner with finance, technology, and operational stakeholders to improve reporting capabilities and decision-making
Your Skills & Experience
You will have:
- Strong experience in a finance, accounting, or financial analysis role
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and reporting
- Practical experience using SQL and Power BI for reporting and data analysis
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and performing reconciliations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive and organised approach, with the confidence to take ownership of processes and improvements
