About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic data team in London. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical reporting, data quality initiatives, and transformation projects that directly influence strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and optimizing data solutions, working closely with various departments to enhance data processes and deliver actionable insights. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills and relevant experience, including:
- Proficiency in SQL, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and database development.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows, Pipelines, and data transformation processes.
- Strong expertise in Power BI development for creating comprehensive reports and dashboards.
- Experience in data quality management, data governance, and reporting solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including:
- Developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to support reporting and data analysis needs.
- Designing and maintaining effective reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring data visualizations are clear, accurate, and insightful.
- Utilizing Microsoft Fabric tools such as Dataflows and Pipelines to facilitate data transformation and integration processes.
- Supporting data quality initiatives across multiple business systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Building and maintaining scalable data models and warehouse structures to support business analytics and reporting requirements.
- Engaging with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translating these into practical, efficient data solutions.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements in data capture, reporting, and governance to enhance overall data management practices.
