Our client, a growing digital consultancy, is seeking a Data Analyst to deliver analysis and insight across complex digital projects.
About the Role
Working within multidisciplinary teams spanning data, design, product, delivery, business analysis and engineering, the successful candidate will interpret data from multiple sources and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. The role combines hands-on data analysis, stakeholder engagement and consultancy. It offers the opportunity to develop technical and client-facing skills while contributing to secure, scalable and well-engineered digital services. The advertised salary range reflects the entry point and progression available within this level.
Responsibilities
- Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
- Present findings clearly through reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
- Engage with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Identify, collect and combine structured and unstructured data from a range of systems.
- Clean, manage and validate data to maintain accurate and high-quality outputs.
- Apply appropriate data analysis and visualisation tools and techniques.
- Use business intelligence platforms to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to explore, design and deliver solutions to client challenges.
- Explain analytical methods and findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Share knowledge through internal workshops, team sessions and professional communities.
- Adapt analytical approaches to changing client needs and project priorities.

Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a data analyst.
- Experience summarising, interpreting and presenting data for users and stakeholders.
- Strong data cleansing, analysis and visualisation skills.
- Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker Studio.
- Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience using at least one analytical programming language, such as Python or R.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain analytical methodologies to stakeholders clearly.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adapting to changing client requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work from office or client locations for at least two days per week, depending on project requirements.

Required Skills
- Proven experience working as a data analyst.

Preferred Skills
- Previous experience working on government or NHS projects.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £38,500–£47,000 per annum
