Hotel Data Analyst

Hotel financial data is only as valuable as the accuracy behind it — and this role is what makes HotStats' global benchmarking database trustworthy for thousands of hotel contributors worldwide. As Data Analyst, you'll be the quality guardian of complex financial performance metrics: interrogating P&L results, running integrity checks, resolving data queries with client contacts, and contributing to the monthly reporting suite that delivers market intelligence to some of the most important names in hospitality. It's a role that combines analytical rigour with real client interaction, and sits at the heart of what makes HotStats the global authority on hotel profit benchmarking.

What Makes Us Different?

Duetto is the hospitality industry's leading revenue management platform, founded in 2012 by former Wynn Resorts executives who knew the industry needed better technology. We built the world's first Revenue & Profit Operating System — a suite of tools (GameChanger, ScoreBoard, BlockBuster, Advance and more) that goes beyond room pricing to give hotels, resorts and casinos a complete picture of their revenue and profitability. Trusted by clients ranging from independent boutique hotels to global chains, we've been named the #1 Revenue Management Software by HotelTechAwards four years running and the #1 Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech in 2025. Backed by GrowthCurve Capital since 2024, we're accelerating our investment in AI — and we're genuinely passionate about the industry we serve. We build products we're proud of, for customers we care about.

A key part of that vision is HotStats — a Duetto company and the global authority on hotel profit benchmarking. HotStats provides unparalleled profitability and cost intelligence, enabling hotels to benchmark performance and make smarter, data-led decisions. Together, Duetto and HotStats give hoteliers a view no other platform can match.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage the quality of the benchmarking database by proactively maintaining assigned contributing company data — executing monthly integrity checks using standard quality routines and a consistent programme of spot checks to ensure accuracy across complex financial performance metrics.
  • Operate translation tools to process P&L data and accurately integrate it into the core database, investigating data quality issues through consistent audits to ensure alignment with the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with data contacts at contributing hotel companies — effectively resolving customer requests and data-related queries with the credibility that comes from genuine financial and operational understanding.
  • Contribute to the production of the monthly reporting suite — including PR data, market data, and bespoke reporting for external clients — tracking and quality checking all outputs to the highest standards of accuracy.
  • Analyse large datasets through data mining to support specific assignments, research projects, and original research for publications, updating and documenting hotel statuses, alerts, and operational notes within the database to maintain real-time accuracy.
  • Work as a key contributor in a visible, fast-paced team environment — collaborating across the data processing and client relations functions that sit at the heart of HotStats' global market intelligence operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
