About The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Data Analyst to join their Data Services team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an annual salary of 36,070. The role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing interactive dashboards, and creating automated reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights, driving the adoption of modern Business Intelligence tools, and enhancing operational efficiency through automation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and analytical professional to contribute to innovative data projects that impact overall business performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or have equivalent relevant experience. Proven experience in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations is essential. Strong SQL skills, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server, are required, along with a solid understanding of working with large and complex datasets. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Create scalable and automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Consolidate manual reporting processes into dynamic, self-service dashboards accessible to stakeholders.
- Develop data integration solutions connecting multiple sources, including Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of all reported data, maintaining high data quality standards.
- Act as a central point of contact for reporting and data analysis requirements across departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver meaningful insights to inform decision-making.
- Support business functions with tailored reports and analysis to optimize processes and reduce manual workloads.
- Assist with forecasting and modeling activities, including performance metrics and recruitment trends.
- Implement modern BI, predictive analytics, and data science techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Develop automation workflows and system triggers using SQL to streamline operations.
- Maintain existing data feeds and support the integration of new systems and databases to ensure seamless data flow.
