Data & Insight Analyst
Wirral/Liverpool (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Starting Salary: £37,000 + Structured Salary Progression
I'm currently working with a well-established not-for-profit organisation that's investing heavily in its data and reporting capabilities as part of an exciting digital transformation programme.
They're looking to add a Data & Insight Analyst to their growing team, someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights while working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
This isn't a role where you'll spend all day writing SQL or building dashboards in isolation. Instead, you'll partner with teams across the business, understand their reporting needs, and deliver data-driven solutions that genuinely influence decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Designing, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Transforming raw data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Supporting ongoing digital transformation by enhancing and developing reporting solutions.
- Producing statutory and regulatory reports for external bodies.
- Managing ad hoc reporting requests and data extracts.
- Communicating technical findings in a way that's accessible to non-technical audiences.

What they're looking for
You'll ideally have around 2+ years' experience working with Power BI and be comfortable owning reports from initial requirements gathering through to delivery.
Experience with the following would be beneficial:
- Power BI dashboard development.
- DAX measures and calculations.
- Translating stakeholder requirements into reporting solutions.
- Presenting insights to non-technical users.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience producing business or statutory reports.
- Experience within the healthcare, charity or wider public sector would be advantageous but is by no means essential.

Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary of £37,000
- Structured salary progression to approximately £40,000 after two years
- Further progression to approximately £43,000 after four years
- Hybrid working (3 days onsite / 2 days from home)
