About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our platform to enhance user experience and functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably in a web-based environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with modern frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and features for our platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs or performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies when appropriate.
- Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments.
