About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring compliance processes, conducting internal audits, and providing guidance to various departments to maintain regulatory standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related role within a corporate services or financial environment.
- Strong knowledge of local and international compliance standards, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory information and implement effective compliance strategies.
- Proactive approach and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures aligned with current regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant at all times.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to embed compliance into everyday business operations and support the company's overall governance framework.
- Continuously review and improve compliance systems to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes.
