Summary
You will help Grosvenor better understand its customers, including occupier sentiment, behaviour and use of our digital services. You will work across the full data lifecycle, from collecting and managing raw data to developing dashboards, producing actionable insights and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
Wage: £27,300 a year
Training course: Data analyst (level 4)
Hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. 35 hours a week

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Develop customer and community insight.
- Support the design, delivery and analysis of surveys, including our annual customer survey and regular customer sentiment research.
- Working with the Operations, London Estate, and Sustainability teams, you will help turn findings into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Gain experience in survey design, data management, SQL, semantic modelling, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- Support our customer data and reporting platforms.
- Help develop and manage tools that improve our understanding of digital customers, working closely with the Digital Solutions Team and Group Technology.
- This will include creating dashboards, supporting Google Analytics integrations, helping colleagues use the platform and contributing to monthly and thematic reporting.
- Also help identify opportunities to improve the platform over time
- Provide insight into the digital customer experience.
- Work with Digital Product Managers and the User Experience Research Manager to analyse customer behaviour and provide insights that support the development of our customer-facing digital products.
- This will give you practical experience of working with Google Analytics data

What you'll learn
- Use data systems securely to meet requirements and in line with organisational procedures and legislation including principles of Privacy by Design
- Implement the stages of the data analysis lifecycle
- Apply principles of data classification within data analysis activity
- Analyse data sets taking account of different data structures and database designs
- Assess the impact on user experience and domain context on data analysis activity
- Identify and escalate quality risks in data analysis with suggested mitigation or resolutions as appropriate
- Undertake customer requirements analysis and implement findings in data analytics planning and outputs
- Identify data sources and the risks and challenges to combination within data analysis activity
- Apply organizational architecture requirements to data analysis activities
- Apply statistical methodologies to data analysis tasks
- Apply predictive analytics in the collation and use of data
- Collaborate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders using appropriate styles and behaviours to suit the audience
- Use a range of analytical techniques such as data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and patterns in data
- Collate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and convert into infographics, reports, tables, dashboards and graphs
- Select and apply the most appropriate data tools to achieve the optimum outcome
Training schedule
The Data Analyst programme integrates live and online workshops with self-paced learning, employing a guided discovery approach for individual learner contexts. Learners are assigned a Digital Learning Consultant (DLC) for personalised coaching and support. These specialists ensure their successful progress, well being, and readiness for assessments.

Other requirements
Entry requirements: Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc) OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus: 5 GCSEs, including English and maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
Experience with using Excel (in particular pivot tables and XLookup) and Microsoft products (or similar)
