51 Degrees is a leading technology company specialising in device intelligence, digital performance analytics, and data-driven insights. This apprenticeship role offers hands-on experience across analytics, website performance, competitor research, and digital optimisation.

About the Role

This newly created role will support the Digital Marketing function by using data-driven platforms, website insights, and content strategies to improve marketing performance and generate new business leads.

Working closely with the CEO/Founder, the successful candidate will gain an understanding of the technical aspects that demonstrate the high standards of our services. The role will involve analysing digital performance, resolving website issues, and leveraging internal and competitor data to assess and improve marketing effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve 404 errors by reviewing legacy external links and redirecting them to the most relevant current pages
  • Ensure all new and existing links to the website include correctly structured and consistent UTM parameters to support accurate marketing tracking and reporting
  • Review open-source package pages to ensure descriptions, documentation, and associated links are accurate, functional, and up to date
  • Identify pages that are underperforming against Core Web Vitals metrics and raise issues with supporting evidence, helping to prioritise improvements to page performance and user experience
  • Track competitor marketing and documentation updates, identifying any significant changes
  • Prepare the initial draft of the fortnightly online performance report, summarising key marketing metrics, insights, and observations

Entry Requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance, you could still be considered for the programme.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5.30pm
