About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Data Analyst to join our Analytics team at Nest Pensions. This role plays a crucial part in exploring and analyzing both member and B2B data, with a primary focus on B2B activity. You will have the opportunity to work with over one million employers and Nest Connectors, examining how they interact with our platform and process more than £5 billion in pension contributions annually for our 14 million members. Your insights will directly influence strategic decision-making, improve employer experiences, and ultimately contribute to better retirement outcomes for our members.
The ideal candidate will produce clear, actionable reports by interpreting complex data trends and patterns from large, multi-source datasets. You will contribute to developing interactive dashboards, compelling data storytelling, and visualizations that communicate key insights to stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify process improvements and user experience enhancements through data analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize the value of our data assets. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R or Python
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Google Analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly
- Experience working with large datasets and multi-source data integration
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Interest in financial services, pensions, or related sectors is desirable
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed analysis and reports to interpret trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced user experiences based on data insights
- Collaborate with B2B teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and support strategic initiatives
- Contribute to the data and analytics team culture by sharing knowledge and best practices
- Utilize a range of analytics tools, including R, Python, SQL, Power BI, and Google Analytics, to perform robust statistical analysis
- Incorporate emerging technologies such as large language models (LLMs) into data analysis and storytelling where appropriate
- Support the continuous improvement of data quality and management processes
