Job Description

We are seeking a curious and commercially minded Data Analyst to join our Finance & Analytics team. You will help the business understand performance across Sales, Marketing and Finance by producing reliable reporting, analysing trends and supporting planning and forecasting.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their analytics career who is confident working with data and wants to develop commercial and financial knowledge in a fast-paced business. You will work closely with the Analytics & Reporting Manager and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the company.

In this role you will gain:

  • Hands-on development in SQL, Tableau, Excel and commercial analytics.
  • Exposure to Sales, Marketing, Finance and senior business stakeholders.
  • Training and support to develop financial planning, forecasting and commercial analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and maintenance of Sales, Marketing and company performance KPIs.
  • Produce regular reporting on revenue, sales activity, marketing performance, customer behaviour and other commercial measures.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting in Tableau.
  • Use SQL Server and Excel to extract, analyse and validate data from multiple systems.
  • Support analysis of performance against budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Help identify key trends, opportunities and risks, presenting findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to assess campaign, pipeline, conversion and return-on-investment performance, constructively challenging assumptions and outcomes where required.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to improve analysis, automate repeatable tasks and identify more efficient ways of working.
  • Work with Salesforce and other systems to improve reporting quality and consistency.
  • Help maintain accurate KPI definitions, reporting documentation and data checks.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests and contribute to wider Finance & Analytics projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
