DATA ANALYST (FINANCE)
UP TO £75,000
LONDON (HYBRID)
This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded analytics professional to join a high-performing finance function where data, reporting, and business insight sit at the heart of decision-making. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in improving reporting capabilities, supporting investment decisions, and helping the business gain greater value from its data.

Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting, validating, and analysing financial and operational data from multiple sources
- Developing and enhancing reporting solutions using Excel and Power BI
- Producing management information and board-level reporting packs
- Building KPI, profitability, utilisation, and performance reporting
- Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting frameworks
- Using DAX and Power Query to transform and structure complex datasets
- Supporting business performance and investment analysis
- Improving reporting processes, governance, and data quality
- Working with data warehouse outputs and supporting reporting improvements
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business
- Communicating insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

Your Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex reporting, data manipulation, and reconciliation
- Strong Power BI experience covering dashboard development, data modelling, and reporting
- Solid DAX knowledge with experience building measures and calculations
- Experience using Power Query for data transformation and automation
- SQL capability for data extraction and analysis
- Proven experience working with large, fragmented, or multi-source datasets
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- Experience delivering commercial, operational, or performance reporting
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
- Experience within a financial services, professional services, or consultancy environment is essential
- Understanding of profitability, utilisation, performance metrics, and business growth drivers
