JOB TITLE – Revenue Data Analyst

DEPARTMENT – Sales and Revenue

CONTRACT TYPE - Permanent

RATE OF PAY - £12.92 per hour plus excellent benefits

HOURS – 37.5 hours over 5 days

LOCATION – Newport, NP18 1HQ

OVERVIEW -

We are looking for a Revenue Data Analyst to join our dynamic Sales & Revenue team at the world-famous Celtic Manor Resort. In this commercially focused role, you'll play a key part in analysing business performance, identifying revenue opportunities and helping shape pricing and distribution strategies across The Celtic Collection.

Every day, you'll work with a variety of data sources to uncover insights, spot booking trends and support decision-making that directly impacts business success. If you thrive on solving problems, making sense of complex information and using data to drive results, we'd love to hear from you.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE -

  • A passion for numbers, analytics and turning data into meaningful business insights
  • Strong Excel, reporting and data interpretation skills
  • Experience using Opera Cloud, Delphi, IDeaS and distribution extranets
  • Experience within the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of Lanyon RFP programmes and GDS rate loading
  • Excellent attention to detail and a highly analytical mindset
  • The ability to identify trends, patterns and opportunities hidden within data
  • Confidence in presenting findings and making recommendations that influence commercial decisions
  • A proactive approach and a genuine curiosity for understanding business performance

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL -

  • Analyse booking, revenue and market data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Produce insightful reports and performance analysis for weekly and monthly revenue strategy meetings
  • Monitor business pace, booking patterns and lost business data to help optimise revenue performance
  • Manage rate code set-up within Opera Cloud, ensuring pricing strategies are accurately implemented
  • Support distribution and sales initiatives by working closely with third-party partners
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations that drive increased revenue, occupancy and profitability
  • Help transform data into actionable insights that influence key commercial decisions across the Collection
  • Play an active role in revenue strategy discussions, helping the team maximise every revenue opportunity
