About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineer to join our dedicated team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our platform, ensuring seamless user experiences for both job seekers and employers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, implement new features, and optimize existing functionalities. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience working with web frameworks and technologies including React, Angular, Node.js, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to task management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services that support our platform’s core functionalities.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into our platform.
