Data Analyst
South West London | Hybrid, 2-3 days per week
Salary: £75,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a growing team in South West London.
This is a varied role working across financial, operational, technology and stock data, helping teams make better decisions through reliable, well-presented analysis.
You will work across the full data stack, from understanding business requirements and building data models through to developing dashboards, analysing data and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
The Role
- Write and maintain SQL models in Dataform to transform and serve reliable data across data pipelines
- Work closely with Data Engineers on the design, development and testing of data pipelines
- Build and develop cloud-based reports and dashboards using Looker or a similar BI platform
- Translate business questions into clearly defined analysis and actionable requirements
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Peer review colleagues' work and contribute to data quality standards and documentation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data workflows

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience writing complex SQL, including CTEs, window functions and complex data types
- Experience with Dataform or a similar data transformation tool such as dbt or Snowflake
- Strong experience building reports and dashboards in Looker or a similar BI platform
- Experience using Git, including branching, pull requests and code reviews
- Ability to translate business requirements into well-scoped, actionable work
- Experience applying data quality techniques, testing and pr
