Data Analyst
Technology | Permanent | Remote, UK (North West or London preferred) | £30,000 to £40,000
Recann is recruiting a Data Analyst for an established technology business that works with large retail and telecoms brands across Europe. The analytics team is growing to support new client work starting this winter.
You will join a small, fully remote analytics team and work closely with the analytics lead. The work starts with data from a wide range of sources, including invoices, PDFs and spreadsheets. You make it usable, then explain what it means to account and project managers.
This is an analytics role, not a software development role. We are looking for people whose experience is in analysing data and presenting what they find.
What you will do
- Extract and analyse data using SQL Server, including stored procedures
- Build Power BI dashboards and PowerPoint reports that clients use to make decisions
- Find the story in the numbers, and ask the questions the data raises before anyone else does
- Use AI tools and automation to make reporting and analysis faster

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
