Key Responsibilities
- Own the Global Data Dictionary (GDD): the critical master source of information pertaining to standards, definitions, business rules and logic, and ownership for core data objects and fields in the global ERP system
- Work with the business units during local pre-migration data discovery, compiling and consolidating metadata, rules and standards into the GDD
- Configuration of the DQ tool by mapping business rules and logic as per the GDD
- Creation of DQ reports and dashboard, distribution to the BU’s then agreeing and tracking remediation activities – providing summary to the core project team
- Management of core datasets that support core ERP such as hierarchies, characteristics, item types – documentation, definitions and consolidation across BU’s where applicable
- Creation of collateral and support the local BU’s to ensure they have a good understanding of data architecture and definitions on the new system to support the mapping exercise (solution familiarisation and adoption)
- Support the creation of key project deliverables such as the Data Object Definitions, Data Object Mapping Document, and complete key activities in accordance with the project plan timeline (data quality, cleaning, testing, defect management)
- Will require some flexibility in working hours aligned with a global role

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in SAP
- Experience of large-scale SAP implementations and transformation programmes
- Experience of working with a Data dictionary and data quality/profiling tools (SAP Information Steward preferable)
- Knowledge of Data definitions, data quality, data profiling, data transformation, data integration, data flows, data segmentation
- Knowledge on Data Architecture and Data Modelling
- Professional data analytical experience, working well independently and within a team
