Data Analyst
Location: Remote role but travel required where needed
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum plus £4,000 company car allowance
Contract: Full time – 2-year fixed term contracts, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
Mears Housing Management is looking for a Data Analyst to help deliver the Property Management Platform (PMP), a transformation programme for the Asylum Accommodation & Support Services Contract (AASC). The Data Analyst will help turn PMP data into clear insight, support better data quality, stronger reporting, benefits tracking, and more confident operational decision-making.
PMP is being introduced to provide a single, more reliable way to manage property, occupancy, and operational information across AASC. It will improve data quality, strengthen reporting, and support more consistent ways of working across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organise, analyse, and interpret programme data.
- Identify issues, trends, risks, and insights to support decision-making.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPI information.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
- Recommend improvements to data, processes, controls, and reporting.
Role Criteria:
- Experience analysing, validating, and reporting on complex, multi-layered operational or project data.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; dashboard experience desirable.
- Ability to identify trends, data quality issues, and root causes.
- Clear communication skills and confidence presenting insight.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out a Background, Identity, Security clearance & BPSS check. For these checks to be completed, we will require from you the relevant identification, including Proof of Address, References, a valid passport, and proof that you have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
