About The Role

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in automotive or cycling products. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required is also important. A passion for helping customers and a desire to learn about our product range will set you apart.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Providing knowledgeable advice on products, and upselling where appropriate
- Maintaining the visual presentation of the store, including stock displays and cleanliness
- Managing stock levels through regular stock checks and replenishment
- Processing transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Handling customer inquiries professionally
- Supporting promotional activities
- Participating in team meetings to discuss sales strategies and store performance
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies
