About London CIV

London CIV was established as a collective venture to pool LGPS pension assets. London CIV is one of six LGPS investment pools in England and Wales, and supports more than a third of local authority pension funds nationwide. We support our Partner Funds across three core areas: Investment Advice; Investment and Asset Management; and Administration and Pension Support Services.

From day one, you'll have on-the-job learning opportunities across a range of asset classes and exposure to leading managers, with plenty of hands-on experience to support your development.

The role

As a Data Analyst within London CIV, the role holder will conduct data reconciliation and validation activities, ensuring that inbound data flows from suppliers such as our Custodian, Partner Funds & Fund Managers are received in a timely manner and that the data integrity is to the required standard.

Working under the Chief Technology & Security Officer and the direction of the Data Architect, the role holder will sit at the centre of all of LCIV's data workflows, ensuring that high-quality data underpins wider organisational decision-making. This would suit a graduate or early-career candidate with strong analytical skills and an interest in investments, data and financial markets.

What you'll be doing

Data Flow

  • Validate that time critical data feeds are received within the correct timeframe and that the data supplied meets the requirements of the Investment and Operations teams, reporting any discrepancies to the Data Architect for guidance.
  • Monitor inbound data flows from the Custodian, Partner Funds and Fund Managers, identifying delays, data breaks, or anomalies and ensuring swift resolution.
  • Maintain oversight of data dependencies across the investment lifecycle, escalating risks or delays that may impact performance reporting, NAV calculations, or downstream processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
