Senior Data Analyst / Data Management Analyst
Location: London, UK
Working Model: Complete Onsite – 5 Days a Week

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Management Analyst to join a data-focused team supporting data analysis, reporting, data quality, and data management initiatives.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience in SQL, Python, Power BI, Snowflake, Data Warehousing, ETL, and AWS. The successful candidate will work closely with business, product, and data engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and effectively used to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze large and complex datasets using strong SQL skills.
- Develop and maintain accurate and reliable reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights.
- Support reporting and data analysis requirements across multiple business areas.
Data Quality & Validation
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Identify and investigate data mismatches and reporting discrepancies.
- Work with relevant technical and business teams to resolve data quality issues.
- Ensure reporting outputs are reliable and fit for business use.

Data Engineering & ETL
- Build, maintain, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Work with data engineering teams to support data integration and transformation processes.
- Understand data flow across source systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
- Automate data and reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and data processing issues.
Data Warehousing
- Work with Snowflake and modern data warehouse environments.
- Understand data warehouse concepts, structures, and data models.
- Analyze and optimize data for reporting and business requirements.
- Work with large datasets and ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with product teams, business users, data engineers, and technology teams.
- Gather and understand business and data requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective data and reporting solutions.
- Explain complex data and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear updates.
Data Issue Resolution
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues.
- Debug data errors, reporting inconsistencies, and pipeline issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues end-to-end.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Follow established data governance and data management practices.
- Support data quality and control frameworks.
- Ensure data solutions follow relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for data processes and controls.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall professional experience in Data Analysis / Data Management.
- Strong SQL – complex query writing, analysis, and optimization.
- Strong Python – data analysis, automation, and data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and reporting/dashboard development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong experience with data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS Cloud.
- Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated environments.
- Experience with Data Governance and Data Management frameworks.
- Experience working on large-scale Data Warehouse projects.
- Experience with additional BI/reporting tools such as Tableau.
