Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will collect, analyse, and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and drive organizational growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reporting and data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyses data from multiple sources
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools
  • Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
  • Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through statistical analysis
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with business, product, finance, marketing, and operations teams to understand reporting requirements
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and present findings to stakeholders
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with company policies
  • Document data processes, methodologies, and reporting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualisation tools
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, data modelling, and data cleansing techniques
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and business intelligence platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Experience in industries such as SaaS, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or retail
  • Experience working with remote or international teams
