Expertise

  • Strong history of data analytics experience, heavily focused within UK Retail Banking.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes.
  • Experience in creating source-to-target mapping documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and business rules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data-related requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Conduct workshops and data discovery sessions to understand data flows and dependencies.

Domain Knowledge

Cloud Infrastructure

  • Practical, hands-on experience working in an AWS data lake environment (e.g., S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and business rules.

Preferred

  • Prior experience as a Data Analyst within Santander UK’s retail banking division is highly desirable.
