Role Description

The Data Analyst role at Novarex Capital Partners is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The Data Analyst will gather, clean, and analyze data related to private market opportunities, including loan notes, litigation finance, and private capital transactions. Day-to-day work includes:

The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of data processes, quality controls, and analytical tools used across the firm.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Analytics to interpret complex financial and operational data
  • Applied knowledge of Statistics for modeling, hypothesis testing, and performance analysis
  • Proficiency in Data Modeling to design, implement, and maintain structured datasets and reporting frameworks
  • Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with data tools such as Excel, SQL, and at least one analytics or visualization platform (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to improving data quality and processes
  • Prior exposure to financial services, private markets, or investment analysis is beneficial but not required.
