Security Analyst

An innovative organisation in the technology space is looking for a Security Analyst. You will join a fast-paced environment, helping to protect critical infrastructure and enterprise systems through proactive monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitor security events, alerts, and incidents across enterprise networks and systems.
  • Analyse logs and data from SIEM platforms, security monitoring tools, and network infrastructure.
  • Investigate and triage security alerts to identify malicious activity and determine attack methods.
  • Follow established incident response and escalation procedures to contain and mitigate security risks.
  • Identify and address false positives while providing feedback to improve detection capabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience in security operations, threat analysis, or security monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, authentication mechanisms, and common attack techniques.
  • Experience securing and supporting Windows and Linux environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on incident documentation.
