About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that enhance our platform’s capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, a passion for problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB, and version control tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable web applications that align with company goals and user needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing codebases, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
