Insight Global are seeking a Senior Data Analyst
Insight Global are seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a leading global information and analytics organisation. The Senior Data Analyst will support a high-visibility analytics initiative focused on delivering reporting and business intelligence solutions for healthcare users across the APAC region. Working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and development teams, this individual will gather requirements, analyse complex datasets, validate business logic, and build impactful Tableau reporting solutions. The role requires a proactive analyst who can bridge the gap between technical and business teams while recommending data-driven reporting and visualisation solutions.
Please note; this position is fully remote working in the UK, for a 6 month contract (Inside IR35) with potential extensions through March 2027. Candidates must be comfortable working with APAC business hours and providing a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with Japan working hours. Ideally, candidates will be able to start their day around 7am BST or have the flexibility to join earlier APAC stakeholder calls when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements
- Analyse and validate data transformations and business logic within Snowflake
- Write SQL queries to validate calculations, mappings, and reporting outputs
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions
- Review requirements and documentation from Jira, Confluence, and Figma
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to deliver reporting enhancements
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure reporting solutions meet user needs
- Recommend alternative reporting and visualisation approaches when standard functionality does not meet requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
- Advanced SQL expertise, including writing complex queries, validating data, and analysing large datasets
- Strong Tableau experience building dashboards, reports, and data visualisations
- Experience working with Snowflake and relational database structures, including data models and database schemas
- Proven ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into reporting solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to provide at least four hours of overlap with Japan business hours and support APAC stakeholders
