About the role

The Payments domain is scaling fast across debit, credit, and cross-border, and you'll own the analytics that keep delivery stable and decisions grounded in data.

What you'll do

  • Work across a growing Payments domain spanning debit, credit, and cross-border payments, with expanding scope in mobile and transaction feed analytics.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering to define and validate tracking requirements for the mobile app interface and transaction feed.
  • Support analytics for new initiatives, including the Daily Banking launch, alongside ad-hoc deep-dive analyses.

What you'll own

  • Own mobile analytics end-to-end — requirements, monitoring, funnel and drop-off analysis, research, and documentation.
  • Own Transaction Feed analytics for the Salmon App — merchant naming standardization, transaction categorization, and icon mapping logic.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting, and self-serve analytics for Payments products across debit, credit, and cross-border.
  • Monitor key payment metrics and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support forecasting and financial reporting for credit products and bills payment streams.
  • Deliver clear stakeholder presentations that turn analysis into decisions.

What makes you a strong fit

  • 2+ years in data analytics, preferably in fintech or payments.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or similar).
  • Understanding of analytics instrumentation and event-based data structures across mobile and web.
  • Experience with mobile analytics — funnels, drop-off analysis, and user behavior tracking.
  • Familiarity with transaction data — payment flows, categorization, and data quality issues.
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.

A plus:

  • experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics tools
  • forecasting or financial reporting
  • a fast-paced startup or high-growth product environment.
