Job Title: Data Analyst - Personal Lines Insurance

18 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a data analyst to join the Howden UK&I data team to assist with a large-scale policy admin system migration project on an 18-month fixed term contract. The role will support the project by helping the business prepare for the migration by providing an understanding of the data and processes needed to successfully migrate our client base across to the new system, as well as monitoring any changes in our key business KPIs before and after migration to assess the impact to the business and flag any potential issues. We are a remote team; however, we do like to meet up from time to time to collaborate in person.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the migration delivers the expected business outcomes by providing data-driven insight, monitoring customer and business impacts, proactively identifying risks, and supporting stakeholders in making informed decisions throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manipulate, analyse, and interpret large datasets to uncover insights and support commercial and operational decision-making relating to the project
  • Communicate insights clearly to colleagues across the organisation, turning complex findings into actionable recommendations
  • Proactively identify, investigate and escalate data quality issues, migration risks and performance impacts that could affect customers, trading performance, operational processes or regulatory outcomes
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, technology partners and external vendors to understand migration requirements and support successful delivery
  • Support migration testing activities by validating data integrity, completeness and accuracy across legacy and target systems
  • Produce clear and actionable analysis that enables stakeholders to understand migration impacts, make informed decisions and prioritise remediation activities where required
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of reporting, dashboards and analytical processes used throughout the migration programme

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
