Role Description

The Data Analyst role at Kareeroo is a part-time remote position focused on turning platform and user data into meaningful insights that improve services and user outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources, performing exploratory and statistical analyses, and building dashboards or reports to track key performance metrics. The Data Analyst collaborates with product, operations, and customer success teams to identify trends, inform decision-making, and recommend data-driven improvements to features and workflows. This role also involves documenting methodologies, validating data quality, and presenting findings in clear, accessible formats to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong Analytical Skills and experience applying Data Analytics techniques to real-world business challenges.
  • Proficiency in Statistics for hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling concepts to structure, interpret, and maintain datasets effectively.
  • Clear and effective Communication skills to present complex insights to cross-functional and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with data tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Interest in career development, talent markets, or HR technology is a plus.
