About The Role

FDM Group is excited to offer a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to re-enter the workforce through our Returners Programme. This initiative is designed specifically for individuals who have taken a career break of 12 months or more and are eager to resume their careers in data, analytics, or related technology roles. As a Consultant within our Data & Analytics Practice, you will be engaged in delivering large-scale projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. Depending on your background and interests, you may take on roles such as BI Developer, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Robotic Process Automation Consultant. Our structured training, mentorship, and support systems are aimed at helping you transition smoothly back into the professional environment, whether at mid, senior, or lead levels.

Qualifications

  • Looking to return to work after a break in your career of 12+ months
  • At least 5 years of prior commercial industry experience, ideally within data analytics, technology, or a related field
  • A strong aptitude and interest in business and technology, coupled with data-driven problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to a minimum of two years of full-time employment with FDM
  • The right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

  • As a Data & Analytics Consultant at FDM Group, your responsibilities will include working closely with clients to understand their business needs and translating those requirements into technical solutions.
  • You will be involved in designing, developing, and deploying data models, dashboards, and analytics tools to drive business insights.
  • Your role will also encompass data engineering tasks such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and automation workflows.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and security, while adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Additionally, you will participate in continuous learning and upskilling programs within the FDM Skills Lab, focusing on advanced analytics, machine learning, and modern data platforms.
  • Your proactive engagement and problem-solving abilities will contribute to delivering value-driven solutions for our clients and advancing your professional growth within the organization.
