About The Role
Harvey Nash are supporting an NHS organisation in the appointment of a Data Analyst to provide finance and workforce analytics expertise. The successful candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders to transform complex financial and workforce data into meaningful insights, dashboards, and reporting that support operational and strategic decision-making.
This role requires strong Power BI capability, experience working with financial datasets, and advanced Excel skills for costing exercises and financial modelling.

- Power BI dashboard and report development.
- Experience working with E-Fin and BOXI financial data.
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and costing templates.
- Ability to translate finance data into meaningful management information.
- Experience analysing workforce finance data.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to support ad hoc costing exercises and financial analysis.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience working with financial data and translating complex datasets into meaningful management information.
- Experience extracting, analysing and reporting on data from E-Fin and/or BusinessObjects (BOXI).
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, financial modelling and costing template development.
- Experience supporting ad hoc costing exercises and financial analysis.
- Experience producing workforce finance reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present findings clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
