ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD

NexGen Cloud is a fast-growing GPU cloud and AI infrastructure business. We're the company behind Hyperstack — a self-serve, on-demand cloud platform built for high-performance AI, HPC, and compute-heavy workloads. Powered by 100% renewable energy and NVIDIA architecture, Hyperstack gives teams from AI startups to enterprise the compute they need, without the cost or complexity of legacy cloud.

We move fast, solve hard problems, and build things that matter. If you want ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to one of the most consequential infrastructure shifts of the decade — this is the place.

THE ROLE: Data Analyst

Our reporting today is fragmented and manual, and as NexGen scales, that doesn't hold. We're building out the data foundations — pipelines, dashboards, and automation — that let Finance and the wider business make decisions on real numbers, not spreadsheets stitched together under deadline.

This is a role for someone who wants a genuinely greenfield remit: you'll be setting up processes and standards from scratch, not fitting into ones that already exist, working alongside our existing Data Analyst but owning your own patch end to end.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Rather than a checklist, here's what success in this role actually looks like:

  • Own data extraction and integration across our warehouses, business systems and APIs, and keep it running
  • Build dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau that leadership actually uses to make calls, not ones that get built and forgotten
  • Turn ad-hoc, business-critical questions into fast, accurate answers under real time pressure
  • Replace manual reporting workflows with automation built in Power Automate, Zapier or similar
  • Become the person Finance, Sales, Ops and Marketing go to when they need the data to actually mean something

ABOUT YOU

We care more about how you think and work than a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:

Essential:

  • Professional experience being a hands-on as a Data Analyst, ideally in a high-growth environment
  • Strong SQL and a track record of data extraction, integration and automation projects
  • Hands-on expertise in Power BI or Tableau
  • Sharp analytical instincts and the discipline to run multiple projects independently without things slipping
