Data Analyst - Regulatory, Data Quality, PowerBI

Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)

6 months initially

Remote

A client of mine within Public Sector is currently looking for a Data Analyst with a strong background in Data Analysis and Reporting tools, within regulatory or highly regulated environments.

The successful candidate will focus on Data Validation, Data Quality Improvement as well Stakeholder Management, working closely with Local Authorities to ensure high-quality Data submissions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, ideally within regulatory environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Data Analysis and Reporting Tools, including Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret large, complex Datasets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load), including:
    • Data extraction from various sources,
    • Data cleansing and wrangling,
    • Data transformation and manipulation,
    • Data loading and validation.
  • Ability to identify Data quality issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support business decision-making.
  • Eligibility for BPSS.
