Position: Microsoft Excel Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30 - $100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Complete realistic, day-to-day workflows using Microsoft Excel.
- Create, organize, format, and manage spreadsheets and workbooks.
- Use common and advanced formulas and functions to solve practical problems.
- Create and work with Pivot Tables to summarize and analyze data.
- Clean, organize, filter, and transform datasets within Excel.
- Create charts, graphs, reports, and dashboards to present information clearly.
- Review spreadsheets to identify formula errors, incorrect data, or formatting issues.
- Explain the steps and Excel features used to complete different tasks.
- Create realistic spreadsheet examples based on business, finance, operations, or analytical workflows.
- Follow project guidelines and provide clear written documentation and feedback.

- Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel in a professional environment.
- Proficiency with Excel formulas and functions, Pivot Tables, sorting, filtering, and data formatting.
- Experience analyzing, cleaning, and organizing data using Excel.
- Experience creating charts, reports, or dashboards.
- Ability to independently complete common and advanced Excel workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify spreadsheet or data errors.
- Ability to clearly explain how Excel tasks are completed.
- Professional experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, operations, data analysis, research, or a related field is a plus.
